It was the group's first US tour and the stage lighting was what you might optimistically call "moody" but in reality it was mostly pitch black. As I wasn't using a flash, I was really surprised that anything came out. In the end, I printed up half a dozen shots I thought were good and sent them to an address in England - and never heard a word. Years later two of those pictures were used on GLJ's best of collection, From The Mouth's Of Babes. There was no photo credit and no money, but I was terribly (naively?) flattered. And Michael gave me a free copy of the CD!
