The Independent, San Francisco 2004

I first saw New York's Sexy Magazines in August 2004 at Little Steven's Underground Garage Festival where their quick, caffeinated set lent a much needed injection of hot-pink eye shadow and poppy-punk tunes to the otherwise mostly interchangeable bottom-billed offerings. I took this shot of the band onstage in San Francisco a few months later where they were again bottom-billed and playing to a handful of Mooney Suzuki fans who had arrived a bit early.
