38. Vendetta Red

I was drawn to this tiny Camden Town club by a Time Out preview describing headliners The View as "Brian Jones-wannabes from San Francisco." Being from SF myself and personally knowing most of the Brian Jones-wannabes in town, I decided to check them out. But a chance pre-show introduction to Vendetta Red guitarist Eric Vermillion, who kindly offered me a seat and a soda, skewed my attention to the Seattle-based, early Who-wannabe support band instead.
